The market in the Lehigh Valley has changed. It is no longer the sellers market that we experienced the last few years. Houses aren't selling as fast as they did in the past. The average length of time on the market for July 2008 was 65 days.

Today you need exposure. You need to list with a Realtor that will give your house the most exposure. All houses listed with Power Realty will be listed in the Multi-list. We also advertise in the major newspapers (Morning Call, Easton Express Times) and Real Estate publications (such as the Lehigh Valley Real Estate Weekly).

Properly pricing a house is very important in this market. You need to work with your agent to properly price your home. Listing at too high a price will cause it to sit for a long time. The inventory right now is very high which leads to an increased amount of competition.
